VP Debate & Voting in NC

The debate between Kamala Harris and Mike Pence is tonight Oct. 7 at 9 pm EST. Both Harris and Pence have tested negative for COVID-19 prior to the debate.
The last day to register to vote in North Carolina is Friday, Oct. 9. Early in-person voting starts Thursday, Oct. 15, and ends on Halloween, Saturday, Oct 31. Same-day registration is available during early voting and the required materials that are necessary are any of the following:
North Carolina driver’s license, any other photo identification issued by a government agency, any government-issued photo ID are acceptable, but the card must include the voter's current name & address, a copy of a current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, or any other government document showing the voter’s name and address, and current college/university photo identification card paired with a proof of campus habitation.
Within two business days, the voter will be registered by the county board of elections. Any further questions about voting in North Carolina can be directed to The North Carolina Board of Elections website.
