Updates on Myanmar

By: Eris Lowdermilk

The residents of Myanmar call upon international aid to help with the military rule in Myanmar. Civilians defend themselves against the coup that took over the previous democratic leaders.

The people have lost hope that the UN will help Myanmar as younger people are learning how to operate guns and other weapons. At the moment two ethnic armed groups are protecting civilians who have fled the regime, especially journalists, politicians, and activists.

The nation is currently overwhelmed with military occupation and find it difficult to organize, and a lot of people are hiding.

Updates are to come.
