Trump Announces Woman To Fill Ginsburg's Spot

By: Eris Lowdermilk

Amidst Supreme Court Judge Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s death on Friday, Sept 17, Trump announces to immediately fill her spot as early as next week. The choice, without much delay, will most likely be a woman, as Trump said at a rally in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

The current Supreme Court includes Justice Stephen G. Breyer, Associate Justice Clarence Thomas, Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr., Associate Justice Samuel A. Alito. Associate Justice Neil M. Gorsuch, Associate Justice Sonia Sotomayor, Associate Justice Elena Kagan, and Associate Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh.

Mere days before her death, Ginsburg had her own wishes about how her seat should be filled:

"My most fervent wish is that I will not be replaced until a new president is installed," she wrote to her granddaughter, according to National Public Radio (NPR).
