Kyra Patel is the Coordinator for Student Social Wellness at Appalachian State University at the Wellness and Prevention Services.
She uses she/her/hers pronouns and is from Apex, North Carolina. She attended Appalachian State University for her undergraduate degree, received her degree in statistics, and graduated in 2016. After she graduated, she attended graduate school at the University of Kentucky, where she did a 180 and decided to earn a Master’s in Public Health in Health, Behavior, and Society.
While at Appalachian State, she was an orientation leader, worked in the Dean of Students Office, and founded the Suicide Remembrance Night.
