North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper signs an executive order in order to strengthen the current mask mandate.
Executive order 180 will be established Nov 24 through Friday, Dec 11.
Governor Cooper states to North Carolinians: “We are in danger.” With the mask mandate, Cooper makes it clear that one should be wearing a mask when you are around people you do not live with, even in your own home.
This new mandate also requires masks to be worn when exercising, whether participating in inside or outside recreational activities. For businesses, this means everyone must wear masks at all times, this includes staff and customers.
