In local news, Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute’s Watauga Campus will offer evening culinary art classes for this spring. Classes will be held at CCC&TI’s state of the art culinary kitchen on their Watauga campus in Boone every Friday afternoon from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. and the cost is $75 per class and space is limited. In state news, North Carolina will receive 750 million dollars from a multi-state settlement finalized with four major pharmaceutical companies over their role in the national opioid crisis. Attorney General Josh Stein announced on Friday. According to The News and Observer.
