App State baseball took an unfortunate loss to UNC Asheville yesterday in Boone. Despite a two RBI performance from Dylan Rogers and playing a competitive game throughout, a solo home run in the top of the eighth inning by Bulldogs third baseman Cameron Johnson proved to be the decisive run that put UNC Ashville up 7-6, which turned out to be the final score. That game evened the season series, as both teams won a game on the road against each other this season. App State has lost three straight games, and six of the last seven games, and they are looking to end their struggles against Ole Dominion starting this Friday.
