Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Dies at 87

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg dies at age 87 this past Friday, Sept 18. She served as a Justice on the Supreme Court. Her death was caused by issues while she was fighting metastatic cancer in her pancreas. She passed away surrounded by her loved ones.


Throughout the 1970s, she was a figure for women’s rights and reigned a high position on the Supreme Court for 27 years. She was the only representation of the liberal wing on the court.


A quote on her legacy from Ginsburg herself:


"I would like to be remembered as someone who used whatever talent she had to do her work to the very best of her ability."
