Emmy Welsh

Hello der! I'm Emmy, a sophomore here at App State (the only place to be, this side of the Mississippi). Studying Electronic Media/Broadcasting with a minor in Theatre, I'm also the Underwriting Account Executive on staff at WASU. Really, that's just a wordy, complicated way of saying that I conduct sales with local companies around town that provide funding and sponsorship for the station. You can catch me On Air Wednesday afternoons from 2-4pm Eastern! Also, come hang out with my co-host, Nick Sharp, and me as we shoot the breeze and talk about things on Undecided Majors, Tuesday nights at 10! I like rad tunes, YouTube, and sloths (three-toed, preferably). Things I don't like: hard pillows, stuffy rooms, and quiet noises. Often you'll find me wandering the land with either chocolate milk or yellow Gatorade at hand (see that rhyme, there?). Oh, and I'm allergic to chap stick and earrings, and can imitate a goat, a baby, and a baby goat quite well.

giggles.

App 1800 - Chancellor Peacock Steps Down

In our final show for the semester, App 1800 focuses on continuation, as Chancellor Peacock joins us in the Wey Hall studio. Following his decision to step down and the announcement earlier this month, the Chancellor discusses with us the reason behind his choice, and where he's going to go from here.
